Make Money Blogging

Make money blogging!

Do you want to make money at home, on your own schedule, doing something that you know how to do?  Would you like to be able to work in your pajamas and not have to brush your teeth before beginning work?  Would you like to work when you want and as much as you want?  Would you like to work at something you enjoy?  There is a way for you to have your own home business.

Make money blogging!  Write articles and publish them on the internet. You can make money by doing just that. You work at home and no one cares how you are dressed.  No one will be able to tell whether you have brushed your teeth or not.  You can work as many hours as you want, whenever you want.  The articles that you write can be about something that you enjoy talking or writing about.

Don’t tell me that it’s something you could never do.  I know better because I am doing it. If I can do it, surely you can.  The process involved in this is simple and can be picked up easily by doing some reading on the Internet.  I’ll be glad to help you if I can.  Just realize that the effort or work that you do will have a direct bearing on the amount of money that you make.

If you have something to share with others, hopefully new information, or at least a different perspective on the subject, plan an article.  You can even write about things that you just enjoy.  You can write about books, movies, audio and video CDs, your hobby, or almost anything.

Make an outline of the article.  List the points that you would like to cover.  Then expand on each one of those points until you have said what you want.  Type the article into your word processor.  Your typing skills will be discussed later.  Use the spelling and grammar checker included in your word processor as “Tools”.  This should give you a very professional appearance to the article.  Again, in the “Tools” of your word processor, check your word count.  Most articles will be at least 500 words but you determine when the article has said what you want it to.

If you really want to make money blogging you must write articles on a regular basis.  That means eventually you will have a lot of articles written and posted on the Internet.  The number of articles that you have written and the number of people who read them have a direct bearing on how much money you make.  Write more, get more readers, and make more money.  It really is a simple process.

Are you afraid that it is an almost impossible task because you are such a poor typist?  Don’t let that stop you.  I was faced with the same situation of being a poor typist and turned to technology for help.  I have purchased and use a voice to text software program
that has been of tremendous help to me.  My typing skills are no longer a factor in my article writing for blogging to make money.  It cost me, but was much simpler, probably cheaper, and much quicker than trying to improve my typing skills.

Earning Money with Affiliate Marketing – A Gold Mine ?

Posted by Alfred on February 14th, 2008

Affiliate marketing can be a gold mine of an opportunity. That is why many people are getting involved in it. However, most of them are just getting into the “want” of earning money. They want to be able to just walk around and pick up the big nuggets. But, I have learned that you must be willing to learn how to be a miner. If you have no strategies to be implemented, no guidelines to be followed, you are facing disappointment.

If you want to become a successful miner in affiliate marketing, bear in mind that it is serious work. Though it is one of the simpler ways of earning additional income, it still requires effort, perseverance, and a clear plan of action from your starting point up to the finish line. There is a learning curve involved here and where you start on that curve, will determine how much time and effort you will expend to become successful.

Here are some of the elements that you need to consider as you begin to engage yourself in affiliate marketing:

Your home office is the initial element that you need to consider in starting your affiliate career. Make your office workspace comfortable. Have a good chair as you will be spending a lot of time in it. Locate the keyboard to provide a proper rest area for your hands. Adjust the monitor screen so that it is at a proper height and angle for your comfortable viewing. The desktop area should give you ample space for your support equipment and materials that you will be working with. Your work area should have enough illumination and your personal computer enough ventilation as well. Create an environment that is pleasant, comfortable, safe, and conducive to work.

Make use of training online. Become well trained in order to achieve success in this career. If you are still unfamiliar to the system, you can get the necessary training that you need. Start by looking for some affiliate-marketing professionals who have already earned substantial extra income and let them guide you on the system. One of the best I have found is Chris Carpenters Google Cash!. This information has a fee, but has a money back guarantee. There are many different resources and conference timetables, which you can attend to learn. One source of free information, if you want to dig for it, is free articles. Another great source is how to make a website.

Establish a realistic target so that you can make the necessary plans to reach it. For instance, $1,000/month is attainable if you are a first time affiliate marketer. But, it won’t happen the first month, probably. You must spend your time on the learning curve. This must be an ongoing effort that has cumulative effect, i.e. money.

As the popularity of affiliate marketing is increasing, it often leads to an increase of earning opportunities.

Now, ask yourself, “How will I choose the right affiliate marketing program?” and “Which of those will give me that good chance of earning a substantial income?”

The previous sections can help you decide on some things about affiliate marketing. The following will help you evaluate different opportunities and will help you maximize your personal resources as well.

The Commission is most important. Of course, that is the bottom line. How much will you earn from a sale? There is no point in endorsing a product or a service if you will not earn from it. It may lead you to spending more on marketing it, rather than making sales. Stick to a program that offers high commission values, possibly on a 50 percent basis.

Traffic on the Merchant’s Website is very important. Try to know the traffic that the merchant’s site is receiving. You can use this standard for you to determine whether or not you want to affiliate. If a certain website ranked in the top 100,000, this means that website has a good volume of traffic and it has a vast amount of affiliates. If it is ranked below 500,000, then it means you get either a little opportunity or nothing at all. Always conduct some research to see if the merchant’s site is getting good web traffic. It will help you decide where that gold mine is hiding.

Pay-out Periods: you need to know how often you will receive your paychecks. There are merchants that release the commission of their affiliates in weekly basis. Others are monthly or quarterly. Your target will not be met if your financial resources will run out.

Tracking Cookies: usually potential customers will just be making a visit and will not make a purchase immediately. It is important that the merchant’s website use cookies to track these customers so that you will be able to get the credit once a customer returns and buys anything in that site. The longer these tracking cookies last, the higher the chance you will be paid.

Merchant’s Promotional Resources: advertising, promotional resources are vital elements. Check the type and quality of these promotional materials that they are offering to their affiliates. Look if there are articles or reviews posted in free article sites, special offers, and free samples. Sometimes, it is wise that you use your own advertisement strategies. There are affiliate programs that use the same ads over and over again. By placing some fresh ads, the impression of the prospect is that she is finding a new product.

Your Time and Effort: are primary factors in determining your success as an affiliate marketer. You determine the time you will commit, but your effort must be effective. To improve the effectiveness of your effort, you might follow the direction of those who have made this journey and achieved success. One such fellow is Wade Winger. He provides you with a well laid out process for making money with Google Profits!. If his plan does not work for you, he provides a money back guarantee.

Your function as an Affiliate Marketer is to promote sales. If you fulfill that function, you get a share of the sale. You promote sales by providing targeted traffic. I recommend you look at the sales page for Confessions of a Lazy Super Affiliate! to aid you in promoting and providing traffic. This sales page contains information that you would have to pay for elsewhere.

Affiliate marketing is full of surprises. Follow the aforementioned starting elements and pointers and start your affiliate career by entering the gold mine. Help yourself. Pick up the “nuggets” and exchange them for your goals. But, remember that if you really want to be successful, you will become a well trained miner following a well laid out plan, not relying on the occasional loose nugget.

Pyramid Schemes (or Scams)

Posted by Alfred on December 12th, 2007

My wife and I have spent the last 15 years in pursuit of a dream; to be self employed, financially secure and free to travel.  The journey has included a few side trips through croc infested swamps, rocky deserts and frozen tundra.   The one thing we’ve learned through it all, there are no short cuts.

The promise of many Pyramid schemes is quick riches with little work.  Those who do succeed with Pyramid schemes do so through consistent, hard work and it may take several years to build the foundation of their business.

Are you considering a Pyramid business opportunity?

It is a Scam if

1) You only earn money by recruiting new members.  Ultimately, any successful business must sell a product or a service.  The foundation of the Pyramid doesn’t rest on any substantial base, a product or service, so the Pyramid crumbles.  According to Wikipedia “Clearly, the flaw is that there is no end benefit; the money simply travels up the chain, and only the originator (or at best a very few) wins in swindling his followers. Of course, the people in the worst situation are the ones at the bottom of the pyramid: those who subscribed to the plan, but were not able to recruit any followers themselves.”

2) You are asked to purchase inventory or marketing materials in advance.  According to the website, Crimes of Persuasion: “Inventory loading occurs when a company’s incentive program forces recruits to buy more products than they could ever sell, often at inflated prices.  Legitimate multilevel marketing plans actually sell their product to members of the general public, without requiring these consumers to pay anything extra or to join the MLM system.”

In fact, any Pyramid Scheme that meets the following criteria is an illegal endeavor:

  1. You must make an investment to get the right to recruit others into the program…and
  2. When you recruit another person into the program, you receive what the law calls “consideration.” That usually means money, but can be anything of value…and
  3. Your new recruits must make an investment to get the right to recruit, and they receive “consideration” for getting others to join.

 http://www.crimes-of-persuasion.com/

What is Multi Level Marketing?

Unlike Pyramid Schemes, MLM’s offer an end product or service and do not rely solely on sign up fees or membership obligations to profit.  It is often difficult to distinguish a legitimate MLM from a Pyramid Scam.  According to Wikipedia; “In the most legitimate MLM companies, commissions are earned only on sales of the company’s products or services. No money may be earned from recruiting alone (”sign-up fees”), though money earned from the sales of members recruited is one attraction of MLM arrangements. If participants are paid primarily from money received from new recruits, or if they are required to buy more product than they are likely to sell, then the company is a pyramid scheme.”

However, many MLM organizations have been criticized for their cult like community and questionable tactics.  Before you invest in any MLM opportunity, do your homework. Take time to research the company, check with the Better Business Bureau or watch groups, such as:  http://www.pyramidschemealert.org/ or http://www.matrixwatch.com/.

Should you decide to invest your time and money in an MLM opportunity, be prepared to work long hours.  According to Robert L. Fitzpatrick, “Making money in MLM requires extraordinary time commitment as well as considerable personal skill and persistence. Beyond the sheer hard work and talent required, the business model inherently consumes more areas of one’s life and greater segments of time than most occupations.”

There are no short cuts on the journey to success.  The only proven route is one of consistency, resilience and patience.  Only then can you hope to arrive at your ultimate destination.

Home Business First Step

Posted by Alfred on December 10th, 2007

This is the site for all brand new people who just can’t figure out how to make a living on the Internet and need real solid advice without someone trying to scheme, scam, or take advantage of them. Don’t go buy somebody’s ebook that promises to get your site listed in Google in 2 days, or guarantees top ten rankings in Google followed by more visitors than you will know what to do with. There are a few legitimate ebooks out there with solid factual information, but not many. Most of them are written by someone who registers a name like see-how-great-I-am-at-internet-marketing . com and then wants to prove how great they are by asking you to search for the exact name of their site in Google and notice that they come up in the top spot. Believe me when I tell you that is not an accomplishment.

Internet marketing is work. It is a full time job that takes dedication and persistence. If you are looking to sell products on the internet then be prepared to put in the effort that is required to slowly build your business just like it is a brick and mortar business on a street corner. The good news is that you found this site. We are not here to sell you anything just lead you in the right direction and show you how to build your business without spending any money on get rich quick garbage, or products that promise to be some kind of quick fix or instant solution. You do not need to spend money on marketing and building your website, you need to spend time. If you have a large budget then by all means outsource all of the tasks required but this site is not for you. We are here for the millions of people who want to get started on the Internet making money but live on a rice and beans budget. There is no shame in working for a living and barely being able to make ends meet. American society is designed to keep the masses poor and living paycheck to paycheck, without desperate workers huge corporations wouldn’t have anyone to keep the daily menial jobs done. The shame would be if you were to find this site and not take action to start changing your life immediately.

Step one is to go read the register a domain name article on how to register a domain name, and then follow the steps to make it happen. If you already have a domain name then skip this step and read the new blogger article and follow those steps. I am going to just assume that whoever is reading these articles has very limited knowledge of how the whole system works and needs help with step by step instructions. If you already know how to do the step by step then by all means just read the why’s of doing each step. The most important thing here is to take action, if you want to get out of the rat race you need to start today. The dishes can wait, and hubby can make his own dinner tonight. Tonight is the night you change your life for the better. Tonight you take action to make a difference in your life and in the lives of your family. One thing I am going to warn everyone about right away. If you do not like writing articles and just writing in general then the techniques I am going to show you are probably not for you. The best way I know for real people to get started making money on the Internet involves a lot of writing. Now go read how to register a domain name.
